Yoyo’s life took a tumultuous turn when he was arrested for a drug case on February 27, 2011. His marriage to Indonesian singer Rossa, which began on March 18, 2004, quickly fell apart after their first son, Rizky Langit Ramadan, was born on October 3, 2006.

By early 2007, their household was reported to be in disarray due to suspicions of Yoyo’s infidelity. Despite efforts to save their marriage, Rossa officially filed for divorce on June 22, 2009, and the couple’s first trial was held on June 30, 2009. The divorce was finalized on July 14, 2009.
