In 2012, Yorke joined Sunderland as a first-team coach, working under his former manager, Martin O’Neill. He then moved to his former club, Manchester United, as a global ambassador and occasional coach.

In 2016, he returned to management as the assistant coach for the Trinidad and Tobago national team, a role he held until 2017. Currently, he is the head coach of the Sunderland U23 team.
