Tusshar Kapoor is an Indian actor born November 20, 1976, in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra, India. He is the son of veteran Bollywood actors Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor.

Tusshar has an elder sister, Ekta Kapoor, a successful television and film producer. Tusshar attended the prestigious Bombay Scottish School, where he was a classmate of Abhishek Bachchan.

After school, he studied Business Administration (BBA) at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor. Tusshar Kapoor is of Indian ethnicity and practices the Nichiren school of Buddhist faith.

Tusshar Kapoor is an Indian actor and producer who has significantly contributing to the Hindi film industry. Before his acting debut, Kapoor worked as an assistant to director David Dhawan.

He then underwent extensive training in acting and dance, honing his skills under renowned experts such as Roshan Taneja, Mahendra Verma, and Nimesh Bhatt.

Kapoor‘s acting debut came in 2001 with the blockbuster film “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai,” a remake of the Telugu hit “Tholi Prema.” His performance earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

He followed this up with roles in other Telugu remakes, such as “Jeena Sirf Merre Liye” (2002) and “Yeh Dil” (2003), though these films did not fare as well at the box office.

Kapoor’s career took a turn for the better in 2004 when he appeared in Ram Gopal Varma’s production “Gayab,” for which he received critical acclaim.

This was followed by a string of commercial hits, including “Khakee” (2004), “Kyaa Kool Hai Hum” (2005), “Golmaal” (2006), “Shootout at Lokhandwala” (2007), and the “Golmaal” sequels (2008, 2010).
