John Abraham is an Indian film actor, producer, and former model born on December 17, 1972, in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra, India. He was born to Abraham John and Firoza Irani. John has a younger brother named Alan Abraham.

Growing up in Mumbai, John attended the Bombay Scottish School and studied at Jai Hind College, University of Mumbai. He then obtained an MBA degree from NMIMS, Mumbai.

John’s heritage is a mix of cultures. His father is a Syrian Christian from the state of Kerala, India, while his mother is a Zoroastrian Parsi from India. He identifies as an atheist.
