Tamer Hosny Sherif Abbas Farghaly was born on August 16, 1977, in Cairo, Egypt. He is the son of Hosny Sherif Abbas and Fatma Al-Sabagh. His father is Egyptian, and his mother is of Syrian descent, having spent most of her life in Egypt.
He has a brother named Hossam Hosny, who is an Egyptian producer and actor. Tamer graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from 6th of October University. He is of Egyptian ethnicity and practices Islam.
