Meet George Weah’s Children: Timothy Weah, George Weah Jr. and Tita Weah

George Weah, the former professional footballer and ex-President of Liberia, has three children with his wife, Clar Weah: Timothy Weah, George Weah Jr., and Martha Tita Weah.

George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Ousman Weah was born in Monrovia, Liberia, on October 1, 1966. He was raised in Clara Town, a Monrovia slum known for its difficult living conditions. Weah belongs to the Kru ethnic group, which originates from southeastern Liberia, particularly Grand Kru County—one of the country’s poorest regions.

Timothy Tarpeh Weah was born on February 22, 2000, in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He is of American, Liberian, and Jamaican nationality and has Liberian ancestry from the Kru ethnic group. A professional soccer player, he plays as a winger or right-back for Serie A club Juventus and the United States national team.

Weah began his professional career with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in 2018, following in the footsteps of his father, who played for the club in the 1990s. George Weah Jr. was born on August 27, 1987, in Liberia. Although he holds Liberian nationality, he was raised in the United States and pursued a career as a professional soccer player. Playing as a midfielder, his last club was La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland.

Weah Jr. began his career in AC Milan’s youth academy at age 14 but was released in 2007 due to persistent injuries.
