Early Life & Education
On March 20, 1976, Chester Bennington was born in Phoenix, Arizona, in the United States. His mother, Susan Elaine Johnson, was a nurse, while his father, Lee Russell Bennington, was a police investigator. He has a brother named Brian Bennington.
He attended Ironwood High School for his fundamental education. As a young boy, he first developed a drug addiction and began abusing marijuana, alcohol, opium, cocaine, methamphetamine, and LSD.
Chester Bennington went away with his mother at the age of 17. She caught him doing narcotics during this period, and he was prohibited from leaving the house after that. Later, he began working part-time at a Burger King restaurant to support himself.
