Pappy Kojo was born on February 13, 1989, in Takoradi, a coastal city in the Western Region of Ghana.
He is the son of Kofi Badu, a businessman, and Rosemond Gaisie, a nurse. He attended Ridge International School. He moved to Italy at 11, living with his aunt and uncle.
