Early Life

Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubalo was born on the 28th day of May 1987 to Mr. Musi Qaqambile and Mrs. Nomvula.

His family moved from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg a few years after his birth. He is the firstborn in a family of three with one younger brother, Khanyiso, and sister Asanda.

As a child Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubalo was an athletic prodigy, he excelled in football, rugby, cricket, and athletic track events.

Education

Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubalo attended Edenvale High School in 2003. After rounding up, He proceeded to Talent International where he studied and developed skills in both acting and presenting.

During this time he took the role of a mentor and coached other students.
He moved to Damelin in 2009 to study contemporary music.

Career

Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubalo has a stellar career in acting, singing, and modeling. His music career started with the help of his friend Mr. Rokker Rogers who introduced him to Baainar Records and subsequently became their vocalist.

During his time with them, he released several top-class songs like Ndiyindoda, Move, Ntombi Ethandwayo, Crazy, and Qina.

In 2016, he released his own music album with Afrotainment. The album contained 14 songs and became a hit immediately.

His acting career started when he was chosen for the role of MJ Memela in the popular South African drama Generations. Since then he has gone on to star in several South African television series like Z’bondiwe, Igazi, Ring of Lies, Isidingo.

In 2008, Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubalo was selected as a presenter on the South African show Hectic 9 Nine and in 2015 he co-hosted the All Access Mzansi Season 10 program along with Mbali Nkosi.
