Harshad Arora is an Indian television actor born on September 3, 1987. In 2014, he made his acting debut in Colors TV’s hit Beintehaa as male protagonist Zain Abdullah, for which he won the ITA Award for Best Actor hit. 2016 Arora appeared in Star Plus’s finite Dahleez as IAS officer Adarsh Sinha.

Early life

Arora was born in Delhi, India on September 3, 1987. His father has a business. He began his career by modeling and appearing in television ads.
He began modeling during his undergraduate years. He acquired early schooling at Ryan International School in New Delhi before enrolling in Delhi University’s Bachelor of Science program.

Career

Arora debuted as a male lead in 2014, playing Zain Abdullah in Colors TV’s renowned love program Beintehaa alongside Preetika Rao. Their on-screen chemistry was an instant smash and remains popular today. Beintehaa won praise and multiple honors, including the Indian Television Academy Award, the Indian Telly Award, and the Kalakar Award.

The show resumed in 2016 under a new name, Salaam-E-Ishq Daastaan Mohabbat Ki (transl. Salame Ishq: the narrative of Love), and was broadcast on Colors Rishtey.
On Raj TV, this serial was also dubbed in Tamil as Alaipayuthey. The series was also dubbed in Indonesian and aired on ANTV under Beintehaa. The series was also dubbed in Turkish and aired on Kanal 7 under the title Benimsin.

Arora made his reality television debut in 2015 when he competed in Colors TV’s stunt-based show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, finishing in 15th place. After a year off, he returned to Star Plus in 2016 to play Adarsh Sinha, an IAS official in the legal drama Dahleez, alongside Tridha Choudhury. After 104 episodes, the show was canceled.

Arora starred as SuperCop Jai in Life OK’s supernatural thriller SuperCops vs Supervillains from 2016 to 2017. A year later, he appeared in Star Bharat’s wonderful series Mayavi Maling, better known as The Kings Daughters, as Rajkumar Angad (The Prince of Mahapuram).

The story is about gaining inner strength and standing up to even the mightiest foes. Set in a fantasy setting. However, after three months, it failed to excite the public and was removed from the broadcast.
In 2019, Arora portrayed Alok Parihar in the SAB TV comedy series Tera Kya Hoga Alia. The series was reworked and renamed Carry on Alia for its second season. The series was canceled in October 2020 after two seasons of airing.

Due to low ratings, the show will be canceled in March 2022 after seven months. He has played the protagonist, Dr. Satya Adhikari, opposite Ayesha Singh in StarPlus’s popular romantic Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin since March 2023.
