On April 4, 1979, Heath Ledger was born in Perth, Australia, to Kim Ledger and Sally Ledger Bell.
His father, Kim Ledger, followed a career as a race car driver, while his mother, Sally Ledger Bell, was a teacher who taught French. He has three sisters; Kate Ledger, Olivia Ledger, and Ashleigh Bell.
