He is the son of Sudha Dubey and Sh. Gyan Prakash Dubey, a civil engineer who held senior management positions in the real estate sector.

He has a sibling, Vibhav Prakash. Dubey pursued his Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering education at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology in Mumbai.
