Emilia Rose Elizabeth Fox is an English actress and presenter. She was born on July 31, 1974 in Hammersmith, London, England. Fox comes from a thespian family – her mother is actress Joanna David, and her father is actor Edward Fox.

Fox has a brother, Freddie, who is also an actor, and a half-sister named Lucy. She was educated at the independent Bryanston School in Dorset, where she played the cello. She later attended St Catherine’s College, Oxford, where she read English. Her ethnicity is White, and she practises Christianity as her religion.

Emilia Fox began her acting career in the early 1990s, first appearing as Georgiana, the sister of Colin Firth’s Mr. Darcy, in the 1995 television adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.
