Amanda Manku, a South African actress, was born on 9 August 1991 in Limpopo, South Africa. Raised by her parents, Mr and Mrs Manku, she grew up alongside four younger siblings. 

Tragically, on May 4, 2021, her mother, aged 45, and grandmother, aged 70, were fatally shot in Makgophong village, Zebediela. Allegedly, William Manku, father of the Skeem Saam star, orchestrated the killings by hiring hitmen. 

Amanda Manku pursued her education at Hoerskool Die Burger in Roodepoort before pursuing her passion for acting. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Motion Picture from AFDA.
