Early life

She grew up in a family of mostly girls and blessed with one boy, Laide Bakare started getting her fame from her childhood days because her street was named after her father so they are called The Bakare’s.

She was born on 7 October 1980 to Alhaja Bakare in Oyo State.

She’s a native of Ibadan, Oyo State.

Education

Olaide Bakare graduated from the famous University of Lagos with a degree in History and Strategic Study, she also holds a diploma in Théâtre Studies from the Premier University in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Laide‘s first appearance was while she was in her second year in the university.

Olaide‘s first major hit Drama or movie was in a film title Adeyemi produced by Muka Ray in 1999, her skills also won her more roles in the industry.
