Career

Rogers moved to Los Angeles when her first marriage ended so she could pursue an acting career. Before looking for an agent, she studied acting for nine months with Milton Katselas. She was a contender for the lead part in Body Heat, which eventually went to Kathleen Turner.

While working on the set of the Fourth Story made-for-cable film in 1990, Rogers got to know her future husband, producer Chris Ciaffa. Charlie and Lucy, the couple’s children, were born in 1994. (born 2001). They were wed at a Beverly Hills courthouse on March 20, 2003.
