Nolwazi Shange Ngubeni was born on 19th January 1984 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
She grew up in Pinetown, then relocated to Claremont, a Southern Suburb of Cape Town in the Western Cape of South Africa. She is 40 years Old.
She was raised in a musical household. Her grandmother is a director of a church choir group, and her aunts and uncles were also part of the choir group, so it was only natural for her to join the group.

Nolwazi Shange appeared on Zabalaza as Kgomotso from May through November of 2013. When she left the play to pursue other lines of interest, she got replaced with another actress called Nonhle Thema during her absence.
She also played Minister Patience Mhlongo in The River‘s second and third seasons. She also starred as Sibongile Dlomo, a villain that works as a human trafficker in the drama series titled “Mzali Wam.”
