Sola Kosoko, sometimes known as Sola Kosoko-Abina, is a Nigerian actress and director best known for her work on the movie Lárdá j.

She was born on January 7, 1980. She is Jide Kosoko‘s daughter. In the film Pala Pala, which also starred Yemi Solade and Muyiwa Kosoko, Sola Kosoko played the lead role.

She addresses the Nigerian young during the Media Literacy and Capacity Building program.

Early Life

The Kosoko royal family of Isale Eko gave birth to Sola Kosoko on January 7, 1980, in Lagos. Veteran actor Jide Kosoko is her father.

Additionally, she is Bidemi Kosoko‘s sister. The late Henrietta Kosoko was her stepmother, and she lost her mother in 1993.

She was a student at Aje Comprehensive High School in Sabo, Yaba, and Methodist Primary School.

She has received certificates in basic and advanced computer studies from the Federal College of Education in Akoka.

After that, she continued to Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago-Iwoye, graduating with an Industrial and Labor Relations diploma and a BSc in Sociology.

Career

She made her acting debut in the 1987 film “Omo Orukan” as a little child. However, Sola claims that her father and figures like Baba Suwe impacted her acting career since she desired to become a broadcaster or attorney.

Her first significant picture, “Ola Abata,” along with “Oko Irese” and “Omo Olorire,” launched her into the spotlight in 1999. She quickly rose to fame in the film industry because of the film “Larooda.”

Lárodá Oj, Oko Irese, Eje Adegbenro 2, Eje Adegbenro, Onitemi, Omo Bishop, Ina Fitila, Wura Ati Fadaka, Alamu Seniyan, and Omo Olorire are just a few of the films in which she has appeared.

She has produced two films: ‘Ese Ni (2005) and The Voice (2019), both of which star her sister Bidemi and father.
