The daughter of Miguel Angel Rosich and Joan Marie, Vanna White was born on February 18, 1957, in Conway, South Carolina, in the United States. Miguel Angel Rosich was a native of Puerto Rico. When she was just a few months old, he left the family.
Her mother consequently raised her. Her mother, Joan Marie, eventually wed Herbert Stackley White. In North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where Herbert Stackley White worked as a real estate agent, the family next relocated. Her siblings are Chip White, Chris Rosich, Joe Rosich, Dawn Rosich, PK Rosich, Hope Rosich, and Ingrid Rosich.
Vanna White was later adopted by her stepfather and took the name, Vanna White. She didn’t watch television programs frequently as a child and had no desire to become a celebrity.
