Atif Aslam was born on March 12, 1983, in Wazirabad, Pakistan to parents Rehana Shaheen and Muhammad Aslam. Aslam grew up alongside his siblings Romana Aslam, Shehraz Aslam, Shahzad Aslam, and Shahbaz Aslam.

In 1995, Aslam returned to Lahore, where he continued his studies at a Divisional Public School and College (DPSC) branch. He later attended Fazaia Inter College for his higher secondary education from 1999 to 2001.
