Conceived 29 September 1988, the pop singer Ir Sais‘s real name is Irgwin Placido Sluis. He is half Dominican and was raised in Tera Conrad (Bonaire). His father passed away when he was just a year old, thus leaving only his mother to raise him.

Career

Ir Sais‘ interest in music began when he was seven years old. At eleven, he started playing drums which he made out of tin cans.

He had a short stint of wind-surfing but stopped after realizing that he had more passion for music so he chose to pursue it, joining several music bands in his city.

Though he never attended any musical school, Ir Sais has an in-born musical talent and can play several instruments.

In 2018, Ir released a musical track, Dream Girl, singing about the girl of his dreams in his native language. He followed this with a remix in 2019, by featuring Rauw Alejandro. The remix turned out to be a global hit.
