Early Life & Education

Oluwajuwonlo Iledare, popular as Jaywon, was born on June 6, 1986, in Egbe Mekun, a historic town in the Yagba West local government area of Kogi State, Nigeria. He is of Yoruba ethnicity and hails from the Ijumu clan.

He had his primary education at ECWA Primary School and his secondary education at Government Secondary School in Kogi State.

He later moved to Niger State, where he obtained an HND in Accounting from the Federal Polytechnic, Bida.

In 2018, he was arrested by the police for violating the curfew imposed by the Lagos State government during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He was caught driving around 11 pm, beyond the stipulated time of 8 pm. He was taken to the police station and later released after paying a fine. He apologized to his fans and the public for his mistake and urged everyone to obey the law.
