Joshua Tyler Huie a.k.a Clever was born on the 8th of July 1985 in Gadsden, Alabama.

Career

Growing up, Clever started out writing poetry before he switched to songwriting.

During his early years, he participated in street rap battles. Thereafter he became a radio personality.

When he was 15, he first learned about the BET show, 106 & Park. In 2006 at the age of 21, he appeared on the show to compete on the Freestyle Fridays segment.

In 2014, he was featured on Snoop Dog‘s song, Pay Day.

He recorded a single titled, Nobody Can Save You featuring rapper, SwizZz in 2013. The song is available on all digital platforms. It currently has over 125,000 views on YouTube.

In 2019, Clever was shot into the limelight after he was co-signed by Juice Wrld. The latter also posted a video of him listening to Clever‘s song while flying in a private jet.
