Kaytranada’s debut studio album, 99.9%, was released on May 6, 2016. The album featured collaborations with artists like GoldLink, AlunaGeorge, Syd, Anderson .Paak, and Vic Mensa and went on to win the 2016 Polaris Music Prize. It received critical acclaim, including an 8.0 rating from Pitchfork.

Kaytranada’s second studio album, Bubba, was released on December 13, 2019, and earned an 8.1 score from Pitchfork. His success continued in 2021, when he won two Grammy Awards, including Best Dance Recording for “10%” and Best Dance/Electronic Album for Bubba.

In 2022, it was revealed that he would appear on Lancey Foux’s album Life in Hell, with his contributions to two tracks, “I’m Lying” and “High Grade.” The following year, Kaytranada teamed up with rapper Aminé to release Kaytraminé, an album featuring collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Freddie Gibbs, Big Sean, Amaarae, and Snoop Dogg.
