Kwesi Arthur (born 18 December 1994) is the stage name of Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter and musician from Tema, Ghana. He attended Tema Senior High School, but because of financial limitations, he could not continue his tertiary studies.

Kwesi Arthur was born on December 18th, 1994. The rapper’s parents, Vivian Danso (mother) and Samuel Danso Arthur (father), raised him in Tema, Ghana, where he was born.

The rapper dropped his number-one track, “Grind Day,” from his EP Live From Nkrumah Krom (2017). The song was released under his independent label and gained enormous support from the Ground Up Chale social action organization.
