Early Life

The Kiffness studied at Michaelhouse School and continued his study at the University of Witwatersrand. He enrolled on the Medicine program at Wits University, but he could not complete his academic pursuit at the institution.

Career
In 2013, The Kiffness dropped his first ever single titled Where are You Going featuring Matthew Gold. The song was loved by many and, as such, made its way to the 5FM Top 40.
The Kiffness is fond of creating sarcastic and humorous songs preying on political issues and Government misappropriation in the country. In 2017, he released a song titled White Privilege, and in 2018, he succeeded in filming his Afrikaans song Pragtig Meisie.
He banned SABC from playing his songs again since they have refused to pay him for playing his music, and he further revealed that the public broadcaster is owing to him R60,000.
In 2019, The Kiffness went single in his music career, and in 2020, he mocked the South African National Anthem in his song. This parody birthed different forms of reaction from the people. Some were in support some others were not happy with his action.
The Ekurhuleni mayor claimed it was racist, but they (The Kiffness and Mzwandile Masina) had an over-the-phone discussion. In his defence, he claimed that it was just a satire.
What brought significant advancement to his music career was his collaboration with Bilal Göregen to create a remix of Bilal Göregen’s rendition of “Levan Polkka”. The song became a hit and went viral on the video-sharing platform YouTube with millions of views.
He sometimes uses his music to help and educate people. For example, in 2021, he created a parody of Miriam Makeba’s “The Click Song”. The essence of this was to help people pronounce the names of newly changed locations.
