She and her siblings lived with their mother, and as life got harder, it got harder for them to make a living. For seven consecutive months, they ate garri.
She went to the farm to provide for herself and her family. To get money, she would pick and sell vegetables.
She eventually enrolled in an aerobics class at the National Stadium to lose weight, and she was always dependable and on time. This led her aerobics instructor to designate her as the class leader whenever she was absent.
She incorporated dancing into aerobics because she is a dancer, and the class enjoyed it. They always wanted her to lead when the teacher wasn’t there.
She received a promotion and started coaching athletes. A promoter approached her for a modeling gig while I spent one of my weekends at the National Stadium for dance rehearsals and workouts.
The modeling exercise included choreography. She initially refused to perform the choreography, but she eventually consented and asked the promoter if she could perform alone.
She had no idea that there were several artists there who enjoyed her performance. This was the start of her professional life.
