He is considered by many to be one of the most brilliant public speakers of all time.

Early Life
Jim Rohn was born in the ancient city of Yakima, Washington, on 17 September 1930.
He was the only child of Mr. Emmanuel Rohn and Mrs. Claire Rohn.
His family owned one of the largest farms in Yakima during the 90s, not far from Jim Rohn‘s residence.

Career
Jim Rohn started his professional career working as a human resource manager for a department store known as Sears. It was just a year after he left college.
A friend invited him to a lecture hosted and lectured by famous entrepreneur, John Earl Shoaff during this period. In 1955, Jim Rohn joined John Shoaff‘s direct selling venture AbundaVita as a distributor.
Two years after, Jim Rohn resigned from his job as a distributor with AbundaVita and immediately joined Nutri-bio, another direct selling business company.
Observing his growing success, John Shoaff, in conjunction with the company’s founders, put it upon themselves to mentor the young Jim Rohn.
After months of mentorship, he proved the mentorship results by building one of the largest organizations in the company,y and 1960. The Nutri-bio company expanded its base to Canada, where John Shoaff and other shareholders chose Jim Rohn as the vice president of the organization.
A few years later, Nutri-bio went out of business due to organizational reasons. Nonetheless, the company’s loss was a gain for Jim as he was invited as a guest speaker for a rotary club where he delivered excellently.
It propelled him into numerous public speech invitations, luncheons, and special events. He presented in his first-ever public seminar in 1963 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
He started presenting seminars all over the United States, speaking on his personal experiences and lecturing his development philosophy.
With each seminar, his confidence grows to make him one of the country’s most popular and renowned public speakers.
Jim Rohn was a recipient of the prestigious 1985 National Speakers Association CPAE Award for excellence in Speaking. He is also responsible for authoring 17 books, audio, and video media. Some of which is The Power Of Ambition, Take Charge Of Your Life, The Day That Turns Your Life Around, and a host of other best sellers.

Jim Rohn‘s height is approximately 5 feet 5 inches, and he weighs 60kg.
He was married to Judy Rohn Yvonne between 1972 and 1984. The union produced two beautiful daughters.
Jim Rohn is dead. He died of pulmonary fibrosis in the winter of December 5, 2009, in West Hills, California, United States. He is buried deep in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park located in Glendale, California.
