Early Life

Obetta CJ Peters was born on August 24, 1982, in a private medical centre. He is an Igbo man and was born into the illustrious family of Chief Sylvester Obetta (Okwute) and Lolo Grace Obetta. His parents christened him Peter Chijioke Obetta. Peter is his biblical name, while Chijioke is his native name.  

He is originally from the Southeastern zone of Nigeria and hails from Obollo Afor in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State. He spent his formative years in his ancestral hometown, Obollo Afor, residing in his parents’ country estate. He had a middle-class upbringing, living with his parents and siblings until he left his ancestral hometown to pursue a higher education.

Obetta CJ Peters is from a conservative Igbo family and was raised with good morals by his parents. From an early age, he was taught the customs and traditions of his tribesmen. He was also raised in the Christian faith and attended a local Catholic parish with his parents and siblings. Since he was a young boy, he has developed a love for the sciences and aspired to work in the health sector.

Education

Obetta CJ Peters underwent his preparatory and secondary school education in Enugu State. For his elementary school education, he attended Umuezejor Primary School, Obollo Afor. He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLCE) from the institution in 1994.

Afterwards, he gained admission into the Special Science School Ukehe, Enugu state, for his secondary school education. He obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) in 2000.

Upon graduating from high school with flying colours, Obetta CJ Peters decided to pursue his dream of becoming a Pharmacist. Hence, he applied to study pharmacy at one of Nigeria’s most prestigious institutions, the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). He bagged a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.pharm) from UNN in 2008.

Career

Armed with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, Obetta CJ Peters began pursuing his dream of becoming one of the leading Pharmacists in Nigeria. His career journey began as an Intern pharmacist at the Federal Medical Center Owerri, IMO state, between 2008 and 2009.

After his successful stint in this role, he switched to the health and human services secretariat under the hospital management board of FCT. This move to a different city and different health board provided Obetta Peter Chijioke with the opportunity to work at caring medical institutions ranging from Wuse General Hospital situated in Wuse Zone 3, Maitama District Hospital, and Gwarimpa General Hospital, to Abuja Central Medical Store Jabi, amongst others.

Between 2009 and 2011, Obetta CJ Peters proved himself as one of the leading Pharmacists in the Abuja Public Health Sector. He achieved this feat due to his exemplary leadership skills and excellent administrative prowess. Encouraged by his success in public service, he decided to venture into private practice, which led to the birth of Health Hub Pharmaceutical Ltd, a healthcare organization specializing in chain pharmacies and foreign trading.

As the Founder and CEO of Health Hub Pharmaceutical Ltd, Obetta Peter Chijioke has grown his establishment into one of the top-tier Health Care companies in Nigeria.
