Emmanuel Kwame Fordjour, best known as Dr UN, was born in Kumasi, the capital city of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

He attended the KNUST SHS, a senior high school affiliated with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
