Robert Maraj

Robert Maraj was a financial executive and part-time gospel singer of Dougla descent. He is most notably known as the father of rapper Nicki Minaj. Maraj was born in 1956 in Trinidad and Tobago.

He was born and raised by his parents, whose names are unknown to the public but can be referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Maraj.

It is unclear if he had siblings, as their names were not reported. Maraj’s educational background is also unknown.

Ethnically, Maraj was of Indo-Trinidadian descent and practised Christianity as his religion.

Tragically, Robert Maraj passed away in February 2021 at the age of 64. He was killed in a hit-and-run accident and died from his injuries after being taken to the hospital.

Carol Maraj

Carol Maraj is a gospel singer, songwriter, and playwright. She is best known for being the mother of rapper Nicki Minaj. Carol was born on December 24, 1959, in Trinidad and Tobago.

She was born and raised by her parents, though their names are unknown. It is unclear if she grew up with siblings, as their names are also not publicly known.

Maraj’s educational background is private. Ethnically, Carol Maraj is Afro-Trinidadian. She practises Christianity as her religion.
