Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi CON is a Nigerian politician, statesman, and business executive. He has held various positions in Nigerian politics, including Governor of Anambra State twice, from 2006 to 2010 and from 2010 to 2014.

Obi is also a presidential candidate for the 2023 general election under the Labour Party umbrella. However, Obi’s political career has been subject to controversy. He initially lost the 2003 gubernatorial election to Chris Ngige but was later declared the winner by the Court of Appeal in 2006.

Peter Obi, a prominent politician in Nigeria, was born on 19 July 1961 in Onitsha, Anambra state. He was raised by his parents, Josphat Obi and Agnes Obi, and had four siblings: Fabian Obi, Bibiana Adani, Martina Obi, and Ndibe Obi.

As a member of the Igbo ethnic group, he follows the Christian faith. Obi received his secondary education at Christ the King College in Onitsha and studied at the University of Nigeria, graduating in 1984.

Gabriella Nwamaka Frances Obi

Gabriella Nwamaka Frances Obi, the eldest child and first daughter of businessman and former Governor of Anambra state Peter Obi, was born in the 1990s. However, the media does not know her exact date of birth. She was raised by her parents, Margaret Brownson Usen and Peter Gregory Obi, and grew up with her brother, Gregory Peter Oseloka Obi.

Gabriella is of Igbo ethnicity and follows the Christian faith. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. In April 2022, she married Chukwuma Okeke Ojiudu in a traditional ceremony attended by many dignitaries.
