Jaco Jacobs was born on the 22nd of February 1980 in Carnarvon, northern cape, South Africa.

He grew up in a small South African town in the Karoo, one of the most remote parts of the world.

In the year 2018, he released a book titled “A Good Night for Shooting Zombies“.

A good night for shooting zombies was one of his novels selected and released as a movie in South Africa.

A Good Day for Climbing Trees and A Good Day for Shooting Zombies were both nominated for the Carnegie Medal; A Good Day for Climbing Trees was also published in Italian.
