Jenna Marbles grew up in Rochester, New York, United States, where she was born and raised. She was born on the 15th of September 1986. 

She has a brother named Devon Mourey, while her mother is Deborah Mourey.

Jenna Marbles subsequently relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, where she got a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Suffolk University. She also got a master’s degree in sports psychology and counselling from Boston University.
