Khosi Twala (born August 10, 1997) is a South African journalist, broadcaster, beauty influencer, fitness enthusiast, and reality TV Star. 

Based in Johannesburg, she has competed in several beauty pageants. She was formerly a contestant in Miss Free State SA (2017), Biogen Face Of Fitness (2020), and Miss Regal International South Africa (2021).

Early Life

Khosi Twala was born to South African parents on the 10th of August 1997. She was born and raised in the Rainbow Nation. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Twala, decided to give her her birth name – Makhosazene.

She is originally from Newcastle, in KwaZulu-Natal. She spent her formative years residing in the province in the southeastern part of the country. Khosi Twala hails from the Zulu tribe in South Africa. She comes from a family of six. She has three siblings – two brothers and a sister. She is also known by the nickname – Yo-highness K. She earned the alias during her teenage years.

After that, she gained admission into the University Of The Free State (UFS) in 2016. She bagged a degree in Journalism from UFS in 2018. Afterward, she studied at Oakfields College

Khosi Twala bagged a Master’s degree from the University Of Johannesburg in December 2021. She received the degree after a two-year program that began in January 2020.

Career

Khosi Twala has been passionate about building a career in the media industry for many years. Because of her love for TV, she decided to study Journalism for her first degree. As an undergraduate, she interned at media houses in Bloemfontein to gain work experience in her industry. She was also an active member of literary and media-related clubs and societies at the multi-campus university. 

After bagging her degree, she decided to switch cities and moved to Johannesburg. She gained employment as a Journalist with a media house in Johannesburg.
