Early Life And Education

Tomi Rae Augustus Lahren was born on August 11, 1992, in Rapid City, South Dakota, United States, to her parents, Trudy and Kevin Lahren. She is an only child with no siblings.

Lahren graduated from Central High School in 2010 before pursuing higher education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism and political science in 2014. Lahren is of German and Norwegian descent and practices Christianity.  

Career

Tomi Lahren began her career in political commentary by working for the Great America Alliance, an advocacy group supporting Donald Trump. In August 2017, she transitioned to Fox News, where she became a contributor to various shows on the Fox News and Fox Business networks.

Lahren also frequently co-hosts Outnumbered and The Big Weekend Show and currently hosts the talk show No Interruption on Fox Nation. In June 2022, she was named host of Tomi Lahren Is Fearless on OutKick.

Before her Fox News role, Lahren gained significant attention while working for One America News Network (OANN), where she was offered her show, On Point with Tomi Lahren, in August 2014. Her commentary on the 2015 Chattanooga shootings went viral, marking a turning point in her rise to fame.

However, in August 2015, Lahren left OANN and started a new program with TheBlaze. There, she gained widespread popularity for her “Final Thoughts” segments, in which she quickly voiced her opinions in a fast-paced, three-minute monologue.
