David Inyene-Obong Nugboyon Oluwaseun ‘Dario’ Hundeyin (born May 6, 1990) is a Nigerian investigative journalist, researcher, creative writer, and activist. He is known professionally as David Hundeyin.
He is the Founder and editor-in-chief of West Africa Weekly, a media publication focused on investigative journalism.
In 2022, David Hundeyin published investigative articles on tech unicorn, Flutterwave, and Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of Nigeria’s ruling political party APC.

Early Life
David Hundeyin was born into the illustrious Hundeyin family on the 6th of May, 1990. He was birthed into the household of Mr. David Fakunle Hundeyin.
His father, David Fakunle Hundeyin, is from Badagry, Lagos State, while his mother is from Ikot-Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State. He was born in Akwa Ibom in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria.
David Hundeyin has both Yoruba and Ibibio ancestry. His mum is an Ibibio woman, while his father is from the Egun sub-ethnic group. He spent his formative years residing in Victoria Island, Lagos, before migrating to the United Kingdom for academic purposes.

David Hundeyin is an Alumnus of Atlantic Hall School in Lagos, attending the institution from 2001 to 2003. After that, he studied at Grange School and left the institution in 2005. He completed his high school at Oxbridge Tutorial College, graduating in 2007.
After graduating high school, David Hundeyin migrated to the United Kingdom for his university education. He bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing and Media, Culture & Society from the University Of Hull. He graduated from the institution in 2011.
Career
David Hundeyin‘s career began in the Public Relations and Communication Industry. He started as an Intern with BHM Group Nigeria in 2014. Months later, he was promoted to Account Executive and held the position from October 2014 till May 2015. He was promoted to Head Of Content in May 2015 and held the position till he left the company in May 2016.
David Hundeyin contributed to CCN Markets from May 2018 to September 2019. He is the former Head Producer of TheSheet TV, an online television platform that showcases youth-focused content. He worked with digital TV from August 2018 till August 2019. He was the Television Writer for The Other News show produced by Channels Television.
He is the Co-Founder of Nova Animation and Copywriting Studio. He helped co-run the media outfit from July 2016 till September 2018.
David Hundeyin is an award-winning journalist, writer, and researcher. David Hundeyin got married at 25, but he is now divorced. He met his ex-wife during his National Youth Service Corps, and the duo married shortly after. Their union lasted for three years before it hit the rocks.
