Early Life & Education
On July 27, 1980, Dolph Ziggler was born in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Donald Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth, his two younger brothers, are professional wrestlers. His father is named Dolph Ziggler, while his mother is Kelly Nemeth.

Dolph Ziggler also competed in collegiate wrestling at Kent State University. He had three years of straight amateur championship victories at the college level. He has won the All-Mid-American Conference award three times. He would begin his legal studies at Arizona State University when he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and joined WWE.

Career
In 2004, Dolph Ziggler joined Ohio Valley Wrestling after signing a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) (OVW). He lost to Ken Doane (Kenny) on August 12, 2005, in the OVW Television Championship match. He was promoted to the Raw roster and made his television debut on the Sunday Night Heat episode aired on September 19, 2005. He joined the professional wrestling tag team The Spirit Squad the same year.
Dolph Ziggler and the other members of The Spirit Squad made their WWE television debut on January 23, 2006. They competed on Raw on April 3 and were crowned champions after winning the World Tag Team Championship. He returned to OVW on January 17, 2007, and engaged in several dark matches against wrestlers.
