Jason Kidd, born on March 23, 1973, in San Francisco, California, grew up in Alameda, California, where he initially played soccer. However, in the 3rd grade, he switched to basketball and spent his free time playing with older boys, honing his skills.

Jason Kidd’s 19-year NBA career: Drafted second overall by the Dallas Mavericks in 1994, Kidd played for multiple teams, including the Phoenix Suns, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, and back to the Mavericks.

Championship Ring: Kidd was a key contributor alongside Dirk Nowitzki, helping the Mavericks win the NBA Championship in 2011.
