In the 1996 and 1997 seasons, he had back-to-back successful performances, but his career faced a setback when he suffered a major knee injury in 1998, tearing both his ACL and MCL. Although his speed was never the same after the injury, Sehorn continued to play for the Giants, starting 73 games.
Sehorn represented the Giants in Super Bowl XXXV and, despite his injuries, remained a key player. In 2003, he signed with the St. Louis Rams but was forced to retire in 2004 after failing a physical due to a broken foot.
After his NFL career, Sehorn transitioned to media, working as a sports analyst for networks such as Fox Sports and ESPN. He also demonstrated his athleticism by winning the Superstars competition three times consecutively (1998-2000).
