Sean Christopher Haire was born on February 25, 1971 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. He was born to his parents, John Haire and Sheila Scoggins Zeek. He has a sister, Erin Alverson Haire, and three brothers: Andrew Renny Lands, Shane Cecil Joseph Haire, and Shan Ezra Haire. Haire attended Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia, where he completed his education before pursuing a career in professional wrestling.
Career
Sean O’Haire began his professional wrestling career after completing his training at the WCW Power Plant. He made his live television debut on June 26, 2000, teaming with Mark Jindrak to defeat the Filthy Animals tag team of Rey Mysterio Jr. and Juventud Guerrera.
In 2001, O’Haire and Chuck Palumbo made their debut in the WWF (later renamed WWE) as part of The Alliance, attacking the Hardy Boyz. They feuded with the Acolytes Protection Agency and had notable matches against various tag teams.
By late 2001, O’Haire was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he aligned himself with Kenny Bolin’s “Bolin Services” group. In January 2003, vignettes began airing introducing O’Haire’s new “Devil’s Advocate” character.
After his WWE release, O’Haire worked for New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2004, where he wrestled against Hiroshi Tanahashi. He later reunited with Roddy Piper at an independent show, where he defeated Abyss.
Parallel to his wrestling career, O’Haire pursued mixed martial arts and kickboxing in 2004. He made his MMA debut with a submission win over Tony Towers, and competed in K-1 events against Musashi and Gary Goodridge. His last fight came in December 2007 against opponents like Shungo Oyama and Chalid Arrab.
