Patience Umo Eno, the First Lady of the state, has passed away after a brief illness. Comrade Ini Ememobong, the state’s Commissioner for Information, confirmed the news early Friday morning in an official statement titled ‘Unexpected Sunset‘.

Mrs. Eno, known for her charitable works and strong faith, breathed her last on Thursday, September 26, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones at a hospital. The statement did not disclose the specifics of her illness but highlighted her peaceful departure.
