Binance Co-Founder CZ Set for Release After AML Conviction

Changpeng Zhao, better known as CZ in the crypto world, co-founder and former CEO of Binance, is scheduled to be released from custody on September 29, 2024. His release follows a four-month prison sentence after pleading guilty to anti-money laundering (AML) violations. Along with his sentence, CZ was fined $50 million and stepped down from his position at Binance.
