Dakore Egbuson-Akande Denies Affair Allegations with Akpabio, Takes Legal Action

Renowned Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has vehemently denied allegations of having an affair with the Senate President of Nigeria, Godswill Akpabio. The rumours surfaced on social media after the popular anonymous blog Gistlover published a list of women allegedly linked to Akpabio, which included Dakore.

In a statement posted on her Instagram page, Dakore expressed shock and disappointment at the baseless accusations. Dakore challenged anyone with evidence of the alleged affair to come forward, offering a reward of N5 million for any proof. She also announced that she has taken legal action against Gistlover, filing a cease-and-desist notice and warning of further legal consequences if the blog does not remove the defamatory content.
