Howie Mandel Didn’t Remember Meghan Markle Being on His TV Show

Howie Mandel has recently confessed that he couldn’t recall actress Meghan Markle being on his show. He hosted the top game show, Deal or No Deal, between 2008 and 2019 and has opened up on his time there on the Good Guys podcast.

During the podcast, he was questioned whether he’d stayed in contact with Meghan Markle. She was a briefcase model then, with the show’s theme revolving around contestants choosing between 26 suitcases. Each suitcase had a different amount, ranging from one cent to $1 million.

Deal or No Deal is Seeing a Resurgence

The Deal or No Deal show is seeing a resurgence, with a new season of the UK version set to air in September. Even though there is no news currently about the US version being relaunched, it has fueled many popular spin-off games, including casino slots. One of them is the Deal or No Deal Megaways slot. On the podcast, Mendel noted that he doesn’t talk with Meghan Markle at all. In fact, he confessed that he had no idea she’d even been on the show. Although he doesn’t remember many people on the show, he said Chrissy Teigen made quite the impression. 

Megan Markle’s Deal or No Deal Stint

This isn’t the first time he has been asked about Meghan’s stint with Deal or No Deal. In an interview in 2018, he revealed that he didn’t recall seeing her on the show in 2007. He said he felt bad if she was watching, but he doesn’t remember her, even though he’s seen a lot of pictures of her. Mandel’s comments came a year after she revealed why she chose to leave the show. According to her comments, she didn’t like the way that the show made her feel.

She felt as though it was more about her looks than her personality and that she didn’t feel “smart” in how she was represented. Megan Markle, who has not only gone on to marry Prince Harry, has also moved with him back to the US. 

The two are now living in a luxurious mansion in the country and have signed a deal with Netflix. They have also released a documentary about their time as Royals and an interview with the famous Oprah Winfrey. Markle has been in the spotlight quite a lot since her debut on the show and has even starred in the hit show Suits. This would become her claim to fame, with numerous stars from the show attending the Royal Wedding.

Deal or No Deal is, and always will be, a popular game show, but Howie Mandel isn’t looking to reprise his role anytime soon, even though the UK is seeing a reboot with Stephen Mulhern.
