Salwan Momika, an Iraqi Christian refugee known for his criticism of Islam, was assassinated last night while live-streaming on social media.
Momika, who fled Iraq to seek asylum in Sweden, had been facing deportation despite ongoing threats to his life. He was set to appear in court today over charges related to his public Quran burnings, though Sweden has no blasphemy laws.
