Leaked Texts Expose NBA Star Anthony Edwards’ Messages to Ayesha Howard
Ayesha Howard, 38, known as the mother of rapper Lil Baby‘s first son, has filed a court case against NBA star Anthony Edwards, 23, presenting alleged text messages as evidence.
The messages, which have sparked widespread discussion on social media platforms, reportedly show Edwards pressuring Howard to terminate her pregnancy and making it clear he had no intention of being involved in the child’s life.

According to reports, the texts allegedly include Edwards saying, “Get Da Abortion Lol,” followed by, “I won’t be in a child life I don’t want. You are sick.”
The exchange occurred after Howard informed him of her pregnancy in January 2024. Following her announcement, Edwards allegedly blocked her on all platforms and ceased communication.
Howard gave birth to a daughter, Aubri Summers Howard, in October 2024. After the birth, Edwards filed for a paternity test in Georgia to determine his parental rights and obligations. However, Howard countered with a separate paternity suit in California, seeking full legal and physical custody, along with child support. She claims Edwards has shown no willingness to provide financial or emotional support, even after DNA tests confirmed paternity.
Court documents outline the emotional, psychological, and financial strain Howard has endured while navigating the legal battle. Meanwhile, Edwards has accused her of strategically filing in California to secure higher child support, arguing that the state is not her primary residence.
This case has not only drawn attention to Howard and Edwards‘ personal dispute but also reignited conversations about paternity battles involving public figures.
Notably, Edwards faced similar allegations in December 2023 from another woman, Paige Jordae, who accused him of offering money for an abortion. At the time, Edwards publicly apologized, stating that those comments did not reflect his beliefs or values.
