Mr P Denies Using EFCC Against Twin Brother Rudeboy, Clarifies Feud With Jude
August 12, 2024Peter Okoye, one-half of the legendary Nigerian music duo PSquare, has refuted claims that he used the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to have his twin brother, Paul Okoye, arrested. Mr. P took to social media to clarify the situation, explaining that the real issue centers around their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
Peter revealed that he discovered a hidden company named Northside Music, created by Jude and his wife, which was allegedly siphoning funds from P-Square‘s management company, Northside Entertainment. He stated that this led him to take legal action against Jude, resulting in Jude‘s detention and subsequent admission of guilt.
Peter stressed that he never intended for Rudeboy to be involved in the dispute and that the EFCC’s investigation was solely focused on Jude. He challenged Paul to provide evidence of any petition filed against him and underscored the importance of transparency for PSquare as a public brand.
The ongoing conflict between the Okoye brothers has disheartened fans, with many voicing their disappointment on social media. While some have criticized Jude‘s role in the feud, others have commended Peter’s dedication to his brother despite the turmoil.
