Sophia Egbueje Calls Out Ama Reginald Over Burna Boy’s Alleged Broken Promise
A leaked voice note surfaced, revealing a heated dispute between socialite Sophia Egbueje and influencer Ama Reginald over a failed promise involving Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy.
The audio, which went viral on Thursday, captures Egbueje’s frustration after Reginald allegedly persuaded her into a sexual encounter with Burna Boy, who reportedly promised her a Tesla Cybertruck—which she later described as a Lamborghini—only to leave her with nothing.

In the recording, Egbueje, a 20-year-old model and rising content creator, vents to an unidentified confidante, claiming that Reginald, a 24-year-old fashion entrepreneur close to Burna Boy, orchestrated the entire situation.
She alleges that Reginald, alongside her boyfriend King Manny and Bayrock Club’s owner, convinced her to engage with the African Giant singer in 2024, assuring her that Burna Boy would gift her the futuristic vehicle.

“He kept saying he’d get me a Cybertruck, and I thought, okay, this might be real,” Egbueje says in the leaked audio. “But after everything, he just disappeared—no truck, no text, nothing.”
Tensions escalated when Egbueje discovered that Reginald had recently attended a Lagos party with Burna Boy and his rumoured new girlfriend, American singer Chloe Bailey.
In the voice note, she accuses Reginald of betrayal, claiming she knew Burna Boy had ghosted her but still chose to associate with him. “Ama was supposed to be my friend, but she’s out there vibing with him and Chloe, knowing he played me,” she fumes. Notably, her mention of the promised car shifts from a Cybertruck to a Lamborghini, raising questions about the accuracy of her retelling.

Sources suggest that Reginald nearly exposed Egbueje’s alleged fling to her boyfriend, though he reportedly dismissed it, unaware of the full story.
So far, Burna Boy, 33, and Chloe Bailey, 26, have remained silent on the allegations. Their rumoured romance is still unconfirmed but has been widely speculated since late 2024. Reginald, who has previously clashed with figures like Bo Hairs and Hilda Baci, has yet to respond, leaving her motives and involvement in question.
