Odunsi, 49, the creative force behind hit series like The Men’s Club and Flawsome, exchanged vows with Odigie, 34, who has starred in many of his productions. The bride stunned in a minimalist white dress with spaghetti straps, while the groom opted for a sleek brown suit.
Videos circulating online captured their heartfelt first kiss as husband and wife and a glowing Odigie proudly showing off her wedding ring. Adding a romantic touch, singer Timi Dakolo performed for the couple and their guests.
This marks a new chapter for Odunsi, whose first marriage to Onohi Iremiren, founder of Eco Virdis Environmental Technology, ended in 2018 after a decade together. Their 2008 wedding had been a widely celebrated affair, but the couple parted ways amicably while co-parenting their two children. Odunsi and Odigie’s love story became public in 2022 when they began attending events together, sparking speculation about their growing bond.

The couple’s connection was built on years of professional collaboration, with Odigie frequently starring in Odunsi’s projects. Over time, their working relationship deepened into romance, leading to Thursday’s nuptials. Their guest list included Nollywood stars like Bisola Aiyeola, Daniel Etim-Effiong, and Rahama Sadau, as well as BBNaija’s Sheggz and celebrity chef Hilda Baci, highlighting their industry influence.
Fans flooded social media with congratulatory messages, though some humorously noted the timing, given Nigeria’s buzzing celebrity news cycle, including Mercy Eke’s Lamborghini reveal and the Sophia Egbueje–Ama Reginald–Burna Boy saga. “Tola and Enado said ‘I do’ while everyone else is chasing cars and drama—perfect love story,” one user on social media quipped. Others applauded Odigie’s patience with comments like, “She waited for her moment, and now she’s Mrs. Odunsi—God’s timing.”
Odunsi, founder of Urban Vision and a New York Film Academy alumnus, remains a major force in Nigerian entertainment. Odigie, a Covenant University graduate turned sought-after actress, brings her own star power, solidifying their status as Nollywood’s newest power couple.
